When You Know...Let it Go
Even when everything seems to be going well…when I feel aligned, grounded, and at peace…my mind can wander into darkness. And it frustrates me. Because the truth is, I feel deeply blessed. I have a wonderful family. Beautiful friendships. I’m doing the work. I love helping others feel joy, groundedness, and inner peace.
And yet…my mind still goes there.

From Fear to Self-Compassion: What My Two-Minute Talk Taught Me
What a scary experience I had this week. I gave a two-minute talk at an eWomenNetwork chapter event…just two minutes. That’s it. And somehow, those two minutes felt more intimidating than any workshop I’ve ever led. The interesting part? I won that speaking opportunity the month before—and from the moment I found out, I went straight into freak-out mode. For an entire month.
I even attended a two-day speaking workshop (Speakonomics) just to feel more prepared. I practiced.

What Lies Beneath the Noise: Unlocking your true essence
Meditation isn’t always easy for me. Like many of us, my mind can be a busy place. There’s often a long list of things that need to be done. Projects I’m working on. Deadlines. Responsibilities. The quiet hum of worry about what might not get finished. Fear, doubt, and endless to-do lists can quickly fill the mind and make it challenging to truly settle in.
But this day was different.

S.E.L.F. Reflections: Stability (Mental Focus)
My eyes popped open this morning at 3:30 a.m., and my mind was already racing — reviewing my to-do list (including this Friday Flow!).
Today is a full one. Day two of Speakonomics, a workshop presented by eWomenNetwork (of which I’m a member). When it wraps at 4:00, I’ll head to my mom’s to visit with my brother and sister-in-law who are in from Tennessee. And then… dinner, dancing, and fun.

A Silent Place in Turbulent Times
2026 has been quite a year so far.
So much turmoil permeates our TV, social media feeds, communities, and everyday conversations. It feels like it’s everywhere. These environmental factors invade our thoughts and emotions, and even though most of it is out of our control, it’s so easy to get caught up in it all. And when I do, it takes a toll.

An Earthly Perspective on Letting Go
When the chaos of daily life feels overwhelming, this thought is an earthly perspective that brings me back to center and helps me let go.
