Why I do it
I have a busy, analytical mind. I know what it’s like to get caught in thought loops that pull you into fear, overwhelm, and self-doubt. For much of my life, I searched for ways to quiet the noise, find clarity, and feel more at peace within myself.
Through yoga, mindfulness, reflective practices, and deep inner work, I learned how to return—again and again—to calm, compassion, and confidence. Serenity is not something I simply teach. It is something I practice every day.
My life’s work is helping others discover this same sense of inner steadiness and self-trust. Whether you are navigating change, feeling stuck, or simply longing for more ease and meaning, I walk beside you with practical tools, gentle guidance, and heartfelt encouragement.
I believe serenity is not about having a perfect life. It is about learning how to meet life with grace, courage, and clarity—no matter what arises.

Phyllis Smith is a certified Yoga Instructor based in the Dallas, Texas area with over 20 years of experience supporting adults 50+ on their pathways to wellbeing and self-empowerment. Passionate about nurturing the mind, body, heart, and soul, Phyllis offers personalized and group yoga practices—both in-person and online—along with private and group wellbeing coaching, workshops, and retreats. She specializes in mindfulness practices and in cultivating a deep connection between all aspects of the S.E.L.F: Stability (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual), Environment, Love, and Friendship. Phyllis creates an inclusive, warm, and welcoming environment where adults are encouraged to explore S.E.L.F-discovery, meaningful connections with others, and enhanced vitality at every stage of life.Phyllis is committed to guiding and empowering individuals to move toward greater tranquility, joy, resilience, and holistic wellness—supporting each person to live with presence, purpose, and peace.
